What Iponance is #

Iponance is a personal finance tracker. You record your own accounts, transactions, budgets and goals, and the app does the arithmetic and shows you summaries.

Not financial advice #

Nothing in the app, including the assistant, insights, tips and the loan calculator, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. It is general information computed from what you entered. Decisions about your money are yours.

Accuracy #

The app only knows what you tell it. Balances, reports and reminders can be wrong if entries are missing, duplicated or mistyped, or if an imported statement was read incorrectly. Check against your bank's own records before relying on a figure.

No connection to your bank #

Iponance does not move money and does not connect to banks or wallets. Bank and wallet names and logos identify your accounts for your own reference. They belong to their owners, who do not sponsor or endorse this app.

Price and free trial #

Iponance is free to download and comes with a 14-day free trial of everything. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the trial starts when you set up the app, with a free "14-Day Free Trial" item from the App Store, so deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't start it again. On Android, it starts when you first open the app and is kept on your phone.

The one-time unlock #

After the trial, a one-time purchase unlocks Iponance for good: ₱199 in the Philippines, or the price the App Store or Google Play shows where you live. It isn't a subscription, there are no ads, and there is nothing else to buy. On Apple devices, Family Sharing is on, so the family members you share purchases with get it too. If you use Iponance on both Apple and Android devices, turn on Sync on both and one purchase unlocks both. Restore Purchase in Settings › About brings it back on a new device. The price may change for new buyers; that never affects a purchase already made.

If the trial ends without the unlock #

Your information is never held back. You can still see everything, use Backup & Restore, Export Data and Erase All Data, keep the reminders you already set, and turn on Sync. Adding or changing entries, the assistant, receipts, payment reminder cards, and logging from widgets (and, on Apple devices, Apple Watch and Siri) wait until you unlock.

Payments and refunds #

Payment is handled by Apple or Google under the App Store's or Google Play's terms; the developer never sees your payment details. Refunds are asked for from the store you bought from and follow its rules. If a purchase is refunded, the unlock is removed, and on your other devices too once they sync.

Your data, your responsibility #

Your data is stored on your device and, if you turn on Sync, in your own locked sync copy in iCloud or Google Drive. Keeping your device, your Apple Account or Google account, your sync password and app PIN secure is up to you. Export a copy from Settings if you want your own backup.

Licence #

On Apple devices, the app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. On Android, your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

No warranty #

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses that come from using it, including decisions made from its figures.

Changes #

These terms may change with app updates. If they change in a way that matters, the app will ask you to read them again.
